Fat Lip

Tonight we went to our friends, Kristin and Ty's house to have a relaxing night of pizza and to let the kids play. Calvin was trying to steal some pizza while sitting on a bar stool and somehow suddenly fell of the stool head first. We ran over and all we could see was gushing blood. It was all in his mouth, on his shirt and on the floor. Daniel picked him up and after we got it to stop bleeding we could see that he had a pretty deep puncture wound that went all the way through his lip. We decided to take him to the new San Tan Urgent Care. Luckily we got there at 7:20pm because they stop taking patients at 7:30pm. Calvin had to get two stitches while Daniel, the nurse and I had to pin him to the table. It was pretty bad. They had to give him a shot to numb it first and he was not happy about that. After the whole ordeal they gave him a sucker and he was very happy. Hopefully he will heal quickly and won't have a big scar. I think we are all exhausted. Thanks to Kristin and Ty for watching Kai during the whole thing. And thank goodness that Calvin loves his blue bear. He is still sucking his thumb even with a big cut on the inside of his lip.
