Jozie has what the Dr. calls Torticollis (you can read about it here) and her Dr. said that we need to continue to do neck stretching exercises and she might even have to do a little physical therapy if the at home exercises don't help completely. He also advised us to go to Cranial Technologies for a consultation about plagiocephaly, which is caused by the torticollis. It all sounds a little crazy but she has a mild case and we have decided to go ahead with treatment. She has had her helmet for five weeks now and is doing great. It hasn't seemed to bother her at all. Last week she had a check-up and her head had grown 2mm more (the Dr. said that was great!) I made a bunch of bows in different colors that Velcro on so she can wear her helmet in style! She has to wear it 23 hours a day for 3-4 months and then she will have a perfectly round head!! I am glad that she will be done before the super hot part of the summer. This picture was taken the day she got her helmet and I was a little sad to cover up those cute little curls.

She makes that helmet adorable. You're such a good mom in dressing it up so cute!
Chloe has the same thing. We have been in physical therapy since she was 2 months old (almost 10 months now!). We love our therapist...she is a pediatric therapist and she comes to our home. Let me know if you want her info or have any other questions.
i miss her already!!
She looks so cute wearing it though! There's a little girl in our ward that has one too but hers covers her entire head. What a cutie, good idea with the bows
Love that little doll face. She needs to go on another GNO with us. We need to do it soon.
