We started out our festivities on Christmas Eve at my parents' house....
Jozie all bundled up.
The 2nd annual hayride/caroling was a HUGE success (especially because of the recorded songs on CD, thanks Brad, and the hot coco!)

The kids always love putting on the nativity. They must love all the attention, amazingly they all stand very still as the Christmas story is read.

Calvin changed plans this year and had to be a shepherd like Preston (the real reason is that he wanted to wear the grey beard).... so Kai was the lonely wise man.

Christmas morning was fun this year. The boys really got into it. Kai was asleep in our bed with us and Calvin came running in to wake everyone up. He said that there were more presents and that Santa had come!! Kai was not too fond of the idea of getting out of bed until Calvin stated that there were not one, but two swords waiting for them downstairs. (Kai decided last minute that Santa had to bring him a sword and so Santa had to make a last minute rush to toys R us to see if there were any left) After hearing about the swords that were downstairs Kai leaped out of our bed..... he didn't really want to open any more presents... all he wanted to do was to fight with his new sword.

Kai and Calvin both got a RC car from Santa.

Jozie was a little confused about the whole thing but enjoyed the wrapping paper.

Kai got some blocks too and decided that it would work out great with his new Tonka RC car!

CRASH!!

Christmas afternoon we went to my parents house for dinner and a gift exchange. We had Shawn's name this year and we made him locate his present using some GPS coordinates.

He knew that it was well worth the hunt when he discovered that his gift was a Dunder Mifflin T-Shirt!!
