Last Day of School

Kai with his Preschool teacher Miss Amy. Kai has had Miss Amy for 2 and a half years and has loved being in her class. I'm sure he is going to miss her very much.

Funny Stuff

Today as we were driving from Home Depot to Wal-Mart Calvin said, "I hope Wal-mart knows what they are doing!" I was a little confused and asked, "Why?" to which Calvin replied, "Because Home Depot thinks it's Christmas!"

Too funny, I guess Calvin thinks it's a little premature to be getting out the Christmas paraphernalia. While in Home Depot Jozie saw a giant inflatable Christmas tree and said "I wanna see cake!" I guess to her it looked like a giant tiered birthday cake. I love to seeing the perspective of a little child.

Calvin's Kindergarten Graduation

Calvin gave quite the show in the front row with the "Left and Right" song.

Mrs. Romero... the best kindergarten teacher ever!

It's so crazy to think that he will be the class of 2023!

This is the view from our car window...

Noticing the sun shining through the clouds...
Kai says "Who's that coming down over there, Jesus?"

Easter Sunday

Trying to get some pics after church isn't always successful. With Dan in the Bishopric he isn't home right after church so we did the best we could. Jozie was so tired and fell asleep on the way home so I was glad that I had gotten a few of her right before we left for church.

My home teacher stopped by while I was out front with the camera and snapped a shot for us. Then Kai and Calvin wanted to give it a try. It was hard for them to hold my big camera but I was pretty impressed with the images they got :)

***WARNING*** Photo overload!

Friday night we walked to North Beach (aka: Little Italy) for dinner.

Saturday Morning we got back on our tour bus and stopped at Union Square to check out the big swimsuit sale at Old Navy! It was the biggest Old Navy I had ever seen!

Then we walked all the way back to our hotel and stopped at a little bakery for breakfast on the way. We dropped our bags and hopped back on the bus and headed here....

We got off at the Golden Gate Bridge stop to get a few pics, it was a lot more foggy that day so it was hard to see the bridge but I think it made for some cool shots.

We took the ferry back from Sausalito to San Francisco, the ferry was a little late and we were afraid that we would be late for our Alcatraz tour...

We rode the trolley bus down to Pier 33 and made it just in time to board another ferry to Alcatraz Island.

The ferry left the Island at 8:30 p.m. and we were cold, tired and hungry. We got back to our hotel and decided to try out the restaurant at our hotel instead of walking around in the cold to find something else.

Sunday morning we went to church and were a little late because we had trouble catching the right bus. I wanted to go find the Full House house after church but it was a long walk and we were pretty tired of walking. We decided to go back to our hotel and rest for a little bit. Dan was craving Italian food again so we went back to North Beach to try out a different restaurant.

We flew home Monday morning and were happy to see the kiddos. It was a great trip and a much needed vacation. I found out that I still like this guy even after 10 years!!
Thanks to my Mom, Tim, and Granny for all the babysitting.
